Kim Kelly has a Bachelor of Business in Management & Marketing and has worked in the Banking & Finance Industry for the past 15 years specialising in Corporate Finance.
Kim has extensive skills in Business Management across a diverse range of businesses and industries including Property Investment & Development, Tourism & Accommodation, Transport, Construction, Hotels/Pubs, Retail and Franchise Business.
Kim has been working with the small to medium enterprise market for the past 5 years through her own Management Consultancy business and now leads the Advance Cairns Business Enterprise Centre in the delivery of Business Advisory services for the Region.
Amanda Hinrichsen - Assistant Manager
Amanda Hinrichsen has over 15 years experience in Executive Administration having supported industry sectors including Regional Development, Childcare, Hospitality, Construction, Property Development, Town Planning and Real Estate.
Through her work experience both domestically and internationally, Amanda has strong skills in Business Operations and Office Management and is highly committed to achieving successful outcomes for small business.
Amanda is based in Cairns and will provide additional support for small business within the Region.
Kristy Krieg - Business Advisor for Marketing
Kristy Krieg is a Certified Practicing Marketer with over 14 years experience in the industry, having a degree in Communications Marketing – Advertising. Originally from Sydney Kristy has managed some notable brands including Virgin Mobile, Telstra, Canon, Vodafone, McAfee, Liquorland, TOWER Insurance and Bank of New Zealand. During her career she has worked strategically within global advertising agencies including Young & Rubicam, Wunderman, Leo Burnett and Grey, as well as holding the position of Advertising and Marketing Manager for both Virgin Mobile and CEC Group.
For the last 5 years Kristy has worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant. During this time she has worked on numerous strategic marketing & communications projects for larger organisations and small business clients. Her experience covers a diverse range of industries including telecommunications, banking & finance, insurance, retail, heavy industry, indigenous business and professional services.
Glenda Aitken - Business Advisor
Glenda has worked local in the banking industry for the last 29 years with ANZ Bank. Prior to joining the BEC team she worked as a Business Banking Manager for 15 years. Her portfolio included a diverse range of small business clients covering a broad range of industries including retail, café/restaurants, tourism, agribusiness and service industries. Glenda specialises in helping small business with a wide range of business products and services including finance. She also has a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
